Message from Incoming LATCH Chairperson

I would like to recognize Sister Tessie Dayrit for her dedication, tireless effort and extraordinary service to the Filipino Travelers of Charleston.  On behalf of LATCH, we thank you!

A close friend once told me that you are only as good as those who work with you.  With the Ladies Auxiliary of Charleston, the Travelers of Charleston is fortunate to have the commitment and support of their ladies in achieving their endeavors.  I am deeply honored to have another opportunity to contribute.

It is at occasions such as tonight when we come together to share a common celebration that we continue on our journey toward something remarkable.  If guests are like flowers, you would be the perfect bouquet that I would pick to share this night with.

May we all cherish the time that we spend together, grasp it with both hands, and make  more wonderful memories to carry with us in the years to come.  God Bless!

Message from Incoming President

It is with great excitement that I assume the role of President of the Filipino Travelers of Charleston.   It is with humility that I assume the same role that has been filled over the last 29 years by outstanding leaders in Freemasonry.  Everyone who has held this role has been a leader and a champion of Freemasonry.  I am honored to be allowed to be the Filipino Travelers of Charleston President for the second time.

It will be great to be working with all the brethren as well as the sisters of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Travelers of Charleston (LATCH) who have been such a great team players since its inception. They have been a great support group for the Filipino Travelers.  We could not have accomplished many goals we set to do without their support.  They are our MasterCard, “they are Priceless.”  During the course of these many years we were fortunate to have so many great members who have shown tremendous support  and dedication to this organization.  And that is why we have maintained our stability.

As I assume the presidency from WB Jojo, who has done an outstanding job as president, we will continue to move Freemasonry forward.  Let us be active in our Blue Lodge and participate and continue to improve ourselves in order to learn and to teach what friendship, morality, and truth really involve, and to practice on a small scale the reality of brotherhood.

Thank you and God Bless.
